Marines Rushing To Equip Amphibious Combat Vehicles With Anduril Pulsar-L Anti-Drone Jammers — The U.S. Marine Corps has initiated a sole-source contract with Anduril Industries to integrate Pulsar-L electronic warfare jammers onto its Amphibious Combat Vehicle fleet, citing an urgent capability gap against small drones. - Skydio Unveils F10 Lightrunner, MegaDock, and Fleet Software — Betting the Industry on Autonomous Infrastructure — At its Ascend 2026 conference, Skydio introduced the F10 Lightrunner — its first fixed-wing aircraft — capable of 100 mph, a 30-mile radius, and fully crewless operation from a new robotic MegaDock. Two new software platforms, Asset Command and Security Command, round out a system-level push to make autonomous drone fleets the operational backbone of utilities, public safety, and site security.
- FARE: The Forensic Watchdog That Catches AI Providers Swapping Certified Image Generators — Researchers at the University of Edinburgh have developed FARE, a deployment-time auditing system that detects when an AI image generator API has been silently swapped for a different model after certification. Accepted at NeurIPS 2026, FARE operates from output images alone — requiring no access to model weights or architecture — and achieves over 92% true positive detection rates at a strict 1% false positive threshold.
